Oops.....

Okay, so I forgot to write anything yesterday. I am going to write at least 400 words today.
And, also , I realized that I wasn't clear to myself or anyone else. What I write on my blog or for school does NOT count for the pledge. I have to write for the book, anything else doesn't count.

A Notebook At All Times

Okay, so the first day of the pledge wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. I have found out that you don't always have to start at the beginning of the story when you write. I also found out that it is best to keep a notebook with you at all times. Last night I was getting ready for bed and an idea poped into my head. I almost forgot it, because I didn't have anything to write it down on. Luckily I found a notebook within arms reach, so I grabbed it and quickly wrote it down. I was also surprised when I found out that I wrote three hundred and seventy eight words.

A Year In Writing

I have started this blog to follow my journey as a teen writer. I am starting a pledge. I pledge to write at least 200 words a day for one month. From October 4, 2001 to November 4, 2011, I will start my first draft of a book whose title has yet to be discovered. I know this pledge is only for a short time, but if it works out, I will make a pledge for a longer amount of time. Please follow this blog, I can use all of the encouragement I can get because, in previous years, I have been put down because of wanting to be a writer.
